So that the world knows the ministry
Missions and Christian organisations work in different countries and in different languages. WEBVAM Ministry serves them in all European countries. A ministry website tells what the ministry does, where its events take place and how to get in touch — in the languages of the people it addresses.
An example is the website of the network of Russian-speaking Evangelical Christian Baptist churches in Europe: events, network members and a church search.
What the website has
- About the ministry: who you are and how you serve
- News and reports: articles that people find through search
- Events: dates, places, contacts
- Several languages with hreflang: every reader sees their own version
- A layer for AI: llms.txt, markdown versions of pages and Schema.org. More on the Website visibility in AI page
Two kinds of website
A website without updates or a website with a control panel, where the ministry publishes news itself. How they differ is explained on the Website for a church page.
How the work goes
- A conversation in English: tell us about the ministry and what it needs
- Structure, texts and design for every language
- Launch: the website is placed on hosting with an SSL certificate and handed over to the ministry together with training
